8 Days Tour Plan
Day 1: Islamabad to Chilas
Depart Islamabad early via the Hazara Motorway and Karakoram Highway. In summer, the confirmed route may use Naran and Babusar Pass. Stop for meals and photography before checking in at Chilas. Overnight in Chilas.
Day 2: Chilas to Hunza
Continue north along the Karakoram Highway, stopping at the mountain-ranges viewpoint and Rakaposhi View Point. Arrive in Karimabad, check in and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight in Hunza.
Day 3: Central Hunza Sightseeing
Explore Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, Ganish and Karimabad Bazaar. Finish the day at Duikar and Eagle’s Nest for broad views across the valley. Site entry depends on opening hours. Overnight in Hunza.
Day 4: Attabad Lake and Upper Hunza
Visit Attabad Lake, Gulmit, Passu Cones and Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Optional boating can be arranged when operating. Continue to selected Upper Hunza viewpoints before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Hunza.
Day 5: Hunza to Skardu
Travel from Hunza toward Skardu through Gilgit and the Indus valley. This is a long but scenic mountain transfer, so the plan includes practical comfort stops and no rushed evening sightseeing. Overnight in Skardu.
Day 6: Shigar Valley and Cold Desert
Visit the Sarfaranga Cold Desert, Shigar Fort and nearby Balti settlements. Time is included for photography and a relaxed cultural visit before returning to Skardu. Overnight in Skardu.
Day 7: Kachura Lakes and Skardu
Explore Upper Kachura Lake and the Shangrila area, then return for selected Skardu sights and local shopping. Keep the evening free to prepare for the next morning’s flight. Overnight in Skardu.
Day 8: Flight to Islamabad
Transfer to Skardu Airport for the flight to Islamabad. Northern-area flights are weather dependent; the written quotation must state the contingency plan and any extra cost if the flight is delayed or cancelled. Arrival transfer concludes the tour.
