Flights from Islamabad to Jeddah What to Expect
New Islamabad International Airport (ISB) also known as Islamabad International or IATA: ISB opened in 2018 and is one of Pakistan’s most modern airports. It offers a smooth, organised experience for Umrah departures.
PIA — Direct and one-stop services: Pakistan International Airlines operates Islamabad–Jeddah routes with both direct flights (approximately 4 hours) and one-stop services via Karachi. PIA is the most frequently used carrier for Umrah from Islamabad given its direct routing and familiarity for Pakistani pilgrims.
Saudi Arabian Airlines — Direct: Saudi Airlines operates direct Islamabad–Jeddah flights and is particularly favoured for generous baggage allowances — important for the return journey with Zamzam water. As the Saudi national carrier, it also provides a smooth arrival experience at Jeddah.
Qatar Airways — Via Doha: Qatar Airways via Hamad International Airport Doha is available from Islamabad for pilgrims who prefer a premium connecting service. Doha layovers are typically 2–3 hours and Hamad Airport is one of the world’s finest transit hubs.
Airport advice for Islamabad pilgrims: New Islamabad International Airport requires pilgrims to arrive 3 hours before departure during peak Umrah season. The Umrah check-in counters are well-organised. Our team will provide your specific check-in time, terminal, and gate information in your travel pack.
For Rawalpindi pilgrims: New Islamabad Airport is approximately 25–30km from Rawalpindi Saddar. Travel time is 35–50 minutes depending on traffic. We recommend departing Rawalpindi no later than 4 hours before your flight during peak hours.

Is the Sunday briefing open to family members?
Yes. Our Sunday 5pm pre-departure briefing at the DHA office is open to all pilgrims and their immediate family members. Many clients bring spouses or adult children to the briefing even if they are not travelling, so they understand the itinerary and can stay informed during the pilgrimage.
Do you offer Umrah packages for Islamabad pilgrims travelling alone?
Yes. Solo travellers are accommodated in quad or triple sharing rooms with other same-gender pilgrims from Pakistan. Single room options are available at an additional cost. Solo women travellers should review mahram requirements with our team policies vary by age and current Saudi regulations.
