Roundu Valley Skardu – Gilgit Baltistan

Roundu Valley is the fourth biggest valley of Baltistan after Skardu, Khaplu, and Shigar in Gilgit-Baltistan, northern Pakistan. Basho Valley

Basho valley Skardu is located in Roundu Division of Skardu District, Gilgit Baltistan. Basho Valley Skardu is the perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts. The Valley is home to many hiking and trekking trails, as well as opportunities for climbing and camping. There are also plenty of scenic spots, such as lakes and glaciers. What makes Basho Valley Skardu even more remarkable is its location. The Valley offers stunning views of some of the tallest mountains in the world. Basho Valley Skardu is truly a paradise for anyone who loves being outdoors.The valley is almost 8,800 feet above sea level. Around 45 km away from Skardu, Gilgit Baltistan, and at approx.10,000 ft high.

Bilamik Valley

Bilamik Valley is a beautiful valley situated in the district of Gilgit-Baltistan, with Astor in the west, Talo Broq in the north and Harpoh in the east. Bilamik valley is located in Rondu valley which is two hour’s drive from  Skardu city and further three hours drive from the Rondu Valley. The Bilamik Valley is a vast and sprawling area with lush green landscape, rich in natural springs and waterfalls.

Soq Valley Skardu

Soq Valley is a few km from Shangrila Resorts, approximately half an hour drive from Shangri La. The beautiful rivers originating from the Deosai National Park flow into one river “Soq river” even before entering the Soq valley. There are many beautiful places to stay on the way, although it is a short half hour drive and the whole journey is so fascinating and worth spending some time.

Masrur Rock

Marsur rock, also known as Hussainabad Slab, is a spectacular rock located in Hussainabad valley in Skardu, Gilgit Baltistan. The stone is 38 feet long, 25 feet in the air, and barely 13 feet below ground. It is 15 feet wide from the ground and barely two and a half feet wide at the other end. It remained unknown until 2017. The sites became popular among tourists when a stunning photograph of this rock was shared on social media. This rock is also known as the ‘Birds Eye Viewpoint of Skardu.’

Chunda Valley Skardu

Chunda Valley is famous for its beautiful scenery and its giant mountains. It’s also known for its beautiful blossom trees, lush green scenery, and magnificent views of Shangri-La Lake. The Valley is on raised ground, providing scenic views of the entire Skardu city, so you won’t be short of views for taking photographs. Apart from the scenic views, the valley also has significance in history. The valley is known as “the shelter for natural Calamity.”
