Highlights of Pakistan

Fairy Meadows National Park: Reachable after a challenging 4×4 drive, Fairy Meadows features a scenic five-kilometer walk alongside a river, surrounded by stunning snow-capped mountains and serene lakes that reflect the breathtaking landscape. The area is rich in alpine forests.

Hunza Valley: Explore the historic Baltit Fort, a 700-year-old structure that offers impressive views of the surrounding mountains. The streets of nearby Karimabad are filled with lively market stalls selling vibrant scarves, handmade bags, and local food like delicious dumplings.

 Khunjerab Pass: This is the world’s highest paved border crossing, linking Pakistan and China. The pass was made difficult to access for security reasons during the 1960s. The Friendship Highway, over 1,300 kilometers long, connects Abbottabad to Kashgar in China, traversing the majestic Karakoram range.

Deosai National Park: At 4,100 meters above sea level, this high alpine plateau features the Bara Pani River and beautiful wildflower meadows. It’s a great spot for wildlife enthusiasts to spot Himalayan Brown Bears and enjoy the tranquil environment around the turquoise Satpura Lake.

Glacier Hikes: Adventure through the Hopar Valley, visiting three glaciers (Hopar, Barpu, Mier) by 4×4. The hike at the foot of the Hopar glacier offers stunning views of ice formations, with opportunities for a picnic amidst the majestic mountains.
