Day-by-Day Tour Itinerary
A practical Azerbaijan itinerary focused on Baku, Gabala and Shahdag, with cultural sightseeing, mountain scenery and manageable daily travel.
Day 1: Arrival in Baku
Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, meet the local representative and transfer to the confirmed hotel. Check in and keep the rest of the day free for a walk along Baku Boulevard or an early night. Overnight in Baku.
Day 2: Baku Old City and Modern Landmarks
Explore the UNESCO-listed Old City, including the Maiden Tower area and Shirvanshahs’ Palace, followed by Highland Park, Flame Towers viewpoints and Baku Boulevard. Entrance tickets depend on the selected package. Overnight in Baku.
Day 3: Gobustan and Absheron
Travel to Gobustan for the rock-art landscape and, when accessible, the mud-volcano area. Continue to selected Absheron sites such as Ateshgah Fire Temple and Yanar Dag before returning to Baku. Overnight in Baku.
Day 4: Baku to Gabala via Shamakhi
