4 Days 3 Nights Switzerland Honeymoon Package
Day 1 Welcome to Zurich (Switzerland)
Welcome to Zurich. Upon arrival at the Airport you will be met by our local representative who will transfer you to the hotel within city limits.
Day 2 Full Day Titlis from Zurich Eternal Snow Tour
Mount Titlis offers snow and fun all year round on the highest peak of Central Switzerland. From Zurich, you will embark on a scenic coach journey southwards through picturesque landscapes via the Albis Pass and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Forested Cantons (as Lake Lucerne is romantically called in German) to Lucerne.
We’ll stop in this historic city for a brief tour of the main sights, including the Lion Monument, which was described by Mark Twain as ‘the most mournful and moving piece of stone in the world’. You will then have some time to explore the Old Town at your own leisure. Admire the frescoed façades and fairy-tale turrets of the narrow streets and marvel at the wooden Chapel Bridge.
Afterwards, we’ll continue our journey to Engelberg, the picture-postcard alpine village nestling at the foot of Mount Titlis. We’ll take a number of cable cars to reach the summit, which is more than 3,000 metres above sea level. Enjoy the spectacular sight of the glacier’s deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders from the revolving gondola lift, allowing you an unrestricted 360-degree view of the landscape.
At the top of Mount Titlis, a high alpine panorama awaits you. Enjoy magnificent views of the Alps from the restaurants or the sun terrace. Visit the shimmering 350-metre-long Ice Grotto or take a ride with the IceFlyer, which brings you close to the crevasses.
Day 3 Lucerne and Engelberg With Traditional Swiss Alpine Villages Tour
We take the scenic route to the charming town of Lucerne. After a short city tour with the main sights and a visit to the Lion Monument, you enjoy some time at leisure. Continue to Engelberg, a typical Swiss alpine village located in the sunny basin under the north face of Mt. Titlis. Surrounded by majestic mountains it was originally founded by the Benedictine monks. Their imposing baroque-style monastery with the largest organ in Switzerland still dominates the centre. Stroll around the village, visit the cheese factory or the monastery (optional) or hike one of the trails in the beautiful surroundings during your leisure time.
