Baku Tour Packages from Pakistan
Complete Baku packages with Azerbaijan e-visa. Flights from Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad. 5 to 11 days. Family, honeymoon & group. Hotel + guide included.
Baku the capital of Azerbaijan is 2026’s standout international destination for Pakistani travellers. In the space of three years it has gone from an obscure former Soviet republic to the most-booked international short-haul destination from Pakistan, and the reasons are immediately clear: a stunning medieval walled city that feels like a film set, three futuristic towers that light up like fire at night, Zaha Hadid’s most famous building, mud volcanoes that bubble from the earth, mountains that rise into the Caucasus, and a halal-friendly Muslim-majority country where a Pakistani traveller feels completely welcome.
It is also genuinely affordable. The Azerbaijan e-visa costs USD 26 and takes 3 days. A 5-day all-inclusive package including return flights runs PKR 85,000. A 4-star hotel on Baku Boulevard costs a fraction of what you would pay in Istanbul or Dubai.
Our Baku packages are fully customisable — 5 days in Baku city, 7 days with Gabala mountains, 8 days with Shahdag, or a private honeymoon package with Caspian Sea sunset dinners. All packages include e-visa assistance, flights, hotel, airport transfers, and guided sightseeing. Departures from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

5-Day Baku Tour Itinerary — Step by Step
PKR 85,000 per person (group of 4) | Airfare included from Islamabad
Day 1 — Fly to Baku / Arrive Depart from your city on the connecting flight via Dubai, Istanbul, or Sharjah. Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Baku. Met by our airport representative. Private transfer to your 4-star hotel in central Baku. Check in. Rest. Evening: walk to the nearest section of Baku Boulevard — the 3.75km promenade along the Caspian Sea. The Caspian is the world’s largest enclosed body of water; at sunset its surface turns gold and the Flame Towers begin to glow behind the city skyline. Dinner at a local Azerbaijani restaurant — try the lamb kebabs, plov (saffron rice with lamb), and pomegranate sauce.
Day 2 — Old City (Icherisheher) + Flame Towers
Morning — Old City (Icherisheher): The Old City is Baku’s most extraordinary district — a UNESCO World Heritage Site that feels completely removed from the modern city pressing against its ancient walls. Enter through the double-arched Shamakhi Gate and you step into a medieval labyrinth of stone lanes, caravanserais, bath houses, and mosques that date to the 12th century.
Maiden Tower (Qız Qalası): The Old City’s iconic cylindrical tower, approximately 12 storeys high and of uncertain original purpose — some scholars say lighthouse, some say Zoroastrian fire tower, some say astronomical observatory. The mystery is part of its character. Climb to the top for views over the old city rooftops and the Caspian.
Palace of the Shirvanshahs: A 15th-century royal complex built by the Shirvanshah dynasty — one of the most important medieval rulers of the southern Caucasus. The palace, mosque, mausoleum, and bathhouse form a complete royal precinct that has survived largely intact for 600 years.
Narrow cobblestone lanes of the Old City bazaar — carpet shops, jewellery, pottery, and the distinctive Azerbaijani flat cap (papaq). Buy Azerbaijani saffron (the world’s finest), pomegranate wine vinegar, and dried mulberries.
Afternoon — Flame Towers + Heydar Aliyev Center: Heydar Aliyev Center: Zaha Hadid’s most celebrated building — a flowing white structure of curves, waves, and ramps that looks like a liquid frozen mid-motion. The building embodies Hadid’s rejection of straight lines and right angles. Now serves as a cultural centre and exhibition space. The exterior is as photographable as anything in the city.
Flame Towers viewpoint: Take the funicular or taxi to the highland above central Baku. From the Martyr’s Lane hilltop park, all three Flame Towers — 182 metres each, clad in LED panels that transform them into three pillars of animated fire after dark — are visible simultaneously against the city and Caspian Sea behind them.
Evening: Dinner on Nizami Street — Baku’s main pedestrian shopping and dining boulevard. Try the Azerbaijani restaurant Fisinjan (pomegranate chicken) or any of the dozens of restaurants along the strip.
Day 3 — Gobustan + Mud Volcanoes + Yanar Dag + Ateshgah Full day outside Baku covering four extraordinary sites that explain why Azerbaijan is called the Land of Fire:
Gobustan National Park (UNESCO): Ancient rock engravings — petroglyphs — carved onto the limestone boulders of Gobustan over a period of 40,000 years. Some of the earliest images of boats, animals, human figures, and ritual dances in the world. The open-air rock art site sits in a stark landscape of eroded boulders. Adjacent Gobustan Museum contextualises the site with excellent exhibits (AZN 10 entry).
Mud Volcanoes: Drive a few kilometres off-road from Gobustan to reach the most visually alien landscape in Azerbaijan — dozens of small mud volcanoes quietly bubbling and occasionally erupting with cold grey mud. Azerbaijan has more mud volcanoes than any other country on earth. The landscape resembles the surface of another planet.
Ateshgah Fire Temple: A 17th-century shrine built around a naturally burning gas vent, historically used as a place of worship by Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs. The central flame — fuelled by natural gas seeping through the rock — burns eternally in the centre of the courtyard. Entry AZN 5.
Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain): Best visited at sunset or after dark. A hillside that has burned continuously for decades (possibly centuries) where natural gas seeps through the hillside rock and burns as an uninterrupted ribbon of flame approximately 10 metres long. At night, the sight of a hillside spontaneously on fire against the dark sky is genuinely startling.
Day 4 — Heydar Aliyev Center Interior + Shopping + Free Afternoon Morning: Explore the Heydar Aliyev Center interior — rotating exhibitions on Azerbaijani art, design, and culture. The building’s internal spaces are as remarkable as the exterior. Azerbaijan Carpet Museum nearby (world’s finest collection of Caucasian rugs).
Afternoon: Nizami Street and the surrounding blocks for shopping — gold jewellery (traditional Azerbaijani filigree), pomegranate products, Azerbaijani cognac (if gifting), and the covered Taza Bazaar for fresh local produce, spices, and dried fruits. Baku’s luxury mall, Park Bulvar, is adjacent to Baku Boulevard — all international brands represented.
Evening: Baku Boulevard walk — rent bikes or take the tourist train along the full 3.75km promenade. The Caspian Sea at night. The city’s skyline. The illuminated Flame Towers. One of the great city evening walks in the former Soviet world.
Day 5 — Fly Home Morning: Final breakfast and check-out. Private transfer to Heydar Aliyev Airport. Depart for Pakistan via your connecting hub. Arrive home.
7-Day Baku + Gabala Tour Itinerary
PKR 115,000 per person (group of 4)
Days 1–4: Same as 5-day itinerary above (Baku city + Gobustan)
Day 5 — Transfer to Gabala Private vehicle Baku to Gabala — 175km, approximately 3.5 hours through the Azerbaijani countryside. The road climbs through the Shamakhi wine region and gradually into the foothills of the Caucasus. Check in to Gabala hotel. Afternoon: Nohur Lake — a peaceful mountain lake 15 minutes from Gabala town. Walk the lakeside path and watch the mountains reflect in the still water. Dinner in Gabala.
Day 6 — Gabala Full Day Morning: Tufandaq Mountain Resort — take the gondola cable car up into the Greater Caucasus Mountains. At the summit, 360° panoramic views over Gabala valley and the distant Caspian. In winter (December–March) this is a ski resort with well-maintained runs. In summer the same slopes offer hiking trails and mountain air at 2,000+ metres.
Afternoon: Yeddi Gozel (Seven Beauties) Waterfall — a series of seven cascading waterfalls through forested mountain terrain. A 30-minute walk from the road through pine and oak forest. One of Azerbaijan’s most beautiful natural sites.
Optional afternoon: Gabaland Amusement Park — well-maintained family park with rides, cable cars, and outdoor activities. Excellent for families and groups.
Day 7 — Return Baku / Fly Home Morning transfer from Gabala to Baku airport (approximately 4 hours). Connect to your outbound flight. Arrive Pakistan.

Top Attractions in Baku — The Complete Guide
Flame Towers (Alov Qüllələri)
Baku’s most iconic modern landmark — three curved skyscrapers, each 182 metres tall, rising from the hilltop above central Baku. After dark, the towers transform into three pillars of animated fire via their LED cladding, visible from anywhere in the city. The towers house apartments, an office block, and the Fairmont Baku hotel. The best viewpoint is from Martyr’s Lane park on the hillside above the towers or from the Caspian waterfront below.
Old City (Icherisheher) — UNESCO World Heritage Site
Baku’s medieval walled inner city — a compact district of cobblestone lanes, stone buildings, mosques, bathhouses, and caravanserais dating from the 12th century. The Old City’s outer walls are largely intact and form a clear boundary between the ancient and the modern. Must-see within the Old City: Maiden Tower, Palace of the Shirvanshahs, the old bazaar area, and the system of 18th-century caravanserais (merchant inns on the Silk Route).
Heydar Aliyev Center
Designed by the late Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and completed in 2012, the Heydar Aliyev Center is one of the most celebrated contemporary buildings in the world. Its flowing white curves no right angles, no straight lines represent Hadid’s theory of parametric architecture taken to its fullest expression. The building hosts rotating exhibitions on Azerbaijani culture, design, and national history. Entry: AZN 15.
Gobustan National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
An extraordinary site 65km from Baku — a plateau of limestone boulders covered in prehistoric engravings (petroglyphs) depicting animals, human figures, boats, and ritual scenes created over a period of 40,000 years. Some of the most ancient human artwork in the world. The adjacent mud volcano field is 6km away — dozens of small conical formations quietly erupting with cold grey mud in a landscape unlike anything else in Azerbaijan.
Ateshgah Fire Temple (Temple of Fire)
A sacred site 30km from Baku built around a natural gas vent that burned continuously for centuries. Historically used as a place of worship by Zoroastrians (who viewed eternal fire as divine), Indian Hindu merchants, and Sikh traders on the Silk Route. The central flame in the courtyard — now controlled but still burning — and the cells surrounding it where worshippers lived for years create a deeply atmospheric historical site.
Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain)
A natural phenomenon that perfectly exemplifies Azerbaijan’s “Land of Fire” identity — a hillside that has burned continuously since at least the mid-20th century (Marco Polo reportedly described similar flames in the 13th century) where natural gas seeps through the surface rock and burns as a 10-metre ribbon of flame. Visit at dusk or after dark for the full dramatic effect.
Gabala
175km from Baku, Gabala is Azerbaijan’s mountain resort town and the most common day-trip or overnight extension added to Baku tours. Key attractions: Tufandaq Mountain Resort (gondola cable car to 2,000m altitude), Nohur Lake (serene mountain lake), Yeddi Gozel Waterfall (seven cascading falls through forest), Gabaland Amusement Park (excellent for families), and the old Gabala archaeological site (ancient Caucasian Albanian capital).
Best Time to Visit Baku from Pakistan
For Pakistani travellers: Spring (April–June) and Autumn (September–October) offer the best combination of weather and value. Summer coincides with Pakistani Eid holidays book 6–8 weeks in advance.
