We depart early and drive to Besham via Mansehra. After a short break at Besham, we resume our drive on the Karakoram Highway, along the River Indus. We will make photo stops at Shatial Rocks with ancient graffiti on them. We reach Chilas or Naran and transfer to the hotel for a night’s stay.

Day 2: Chilas or Naran Gilgit 

Drive to Gilgit via Karakorum highway, stop at several breathtaking views of Karakorum and Hinduraj mountains. Also stop at Shatial to see the rock drawing made my Buddhist pilgrims who traveled thru this area from 4th to 8th century. Also stop to see the Nanga Parbat Mountain, the 9th highest mountain of the world. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Chilas or Naran, Hunza

Morning tour of Gilgit, the headquarter of the Gilgit Baltistan region; visit the bazaar and suspension bridge. At noon, strive to reach Hunza (100 kilometers). Stop for pictures along the scenic highway and Rakaposhi views, the 27th highest in the world. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Explore Hunza Karimabad

Ultar, Hunza Dome, Bublimating, Spantik and Diran are famous peaks surrounds us at Karimabad, while Rakaposhi at 7788m dominates the whole panorama. At Karimabad, we will visit Baltit Fort Museum and Altit Fort and in the afternoon drive to Gilgit and make brief trip to the bazaar on arrival.

Day 5: Karimabad-Khunjerab Pass (340 km/9–10 hours)

Today we will make an excursion to the Sino-Pak border at Khunjerab, crossing the villages of Gulmit, Passu and Sost en route. Khunjerab is the highest point on KKH at 4734 meters and is considered the highest trade route in the world. In the evening, we will return to Karimabad and stay there for night.

Day 6: Nagar Valley Hoper Glacier  

After breakfast, we will drive to Hoper Valley for 1 hour (2800 m). En route, we will visit Nagar Khas (a village in Nagar Valley) and meet locals to witness a different culture and Nagar fort. Then continue to travel to Hoper village, where we can do a beautiful short hike to Hoper glacier (2 hours) and experience walking on the glacier. Then drive to Minapin village to enjoy leisure time and a famous traditional lunch (Gurkun karahi) while a local historian briefly explains the region’s history. After lunch, drive to KHO (a beautiful viewpoint) in local jeeps. Drive back to Karimabad in the evening.

Day 7: Kaimabad- Passu -Borith Lake

Today we will drive to Passu through numerous small villages in upper Hunza. we will reach Gulmit village, where we will walk through the orchids and then visit the old house & music school. Enjoy a short hike, Pakistan’s highest and longest stairs, to Ondra Fort (01 hour), a community-based tourism initiative in Gulmit village of Gojal Valley. Free time to enjoy the beautiful view of Passu cones and upper Hunza. Later in the afternoon, drive to Borith Lake (a beautiful lake in upper Hunza famous for migrating birds). After witnessing the magnificent migrating birds, we will proceed to Passu to enjoy leisure time in the afternoon. we can do an evening trek to Passu Glacier beside the stream (2-hour trek both ways) – optional. Enjoy the sunset from glacier breeze restaurant with a cup of tea/coffee and the famous apricot cake. We may participate in a cultural event in upper Hunza (if the time matches). Drive back to our hotel in Karimabad for the night’s stay

Day 8: Hunza Naltar Valley :

On This day, after breakfast, We Will drive to  Naltar  via Jeeps, Full day excursion to Naltar valley and Naltar Lakes, then go back to Gilgit and transfer in transfer in Hotel

Day 9: Gilgit-Islamabad (450 km/10 hrs)

From Gilgit, we will resume our journey towards Islamabad, passing through Mansehra, Abbottabad  we will reach Islamabad at our designated drop off place.End Hunza Valley Tour Package.
